On July 10th, Shopoff received California Coastal Commission approval for its 29-acre Magnolia Tank Farm project. Located in a prime, beach-adjacent location in Huntington Beach, pending entitlements include approximately 250 single-family detached and attached units, a 215-key boutique lodge and approximately 19,000 square feet of neighborhood retail.
This project will provide quality housing for Huntington Beach residents, with a much-needed
affordable housing component, even including a first of its kind program that will dedicate a portion of the affordable housing to hotel workers. Shopoff believes this innovative program is vitally important to the success of this project, as it will allow workers to live in the city where they are employed, and avoid lengthy daily commutes.
We want to specifically thank the labor unions, including construction and hotel workers, affordable housing advocates, our consultants, and coastal commission staff, that have invested countless hours into this project. We are dedicated to seeing this project come to fruition and be a bright spot for Huntington Beach, instead of the blight it has historically been on this stretch of the coastline. |

Our team had so much fun assembling backpacks for kids aged K-12! With the generous donations made by fellow employees, we were able to gather 24 backpacks in support of Olive Crest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and equipping children and families in crisis. Thank you to The Boardwalk for hosting this backpack drive, we are grateful to have been a part of it. |
